Go Behind the Wheel with Toledo Jeep Fest’s New Series

There’s more to Toledo Jeep Fest than iconic vehicles and downtown excitement, it’s about the stories, the people, and the deep-rooted connection between Jeep and the city that built it. Now, a brand-new video series is bringing those stories to life.

Introducing Behind the Wheel, an original Toledo Jeep Fest series that takes you beyond the Jeeps and into the heart of the community that makes this event so special.

Hosted by Toledo Jeep Fest Event Director Whitney Rofkar, the limited series dives into the history, traditions, and personalities that have shaped Jeep’s 85-year legacy in Toledo. From local storytellers and passionate Jeep enthusiasts to community leaders and festival organizers, each episode offers a fresh perspective on what it means to be part of Jeep culture in its hometown.

Whether you’re a lifelong Jeeper or planning your first trip to Toledo Jeep Fest, Behind the Wheel is designed to get you inspired, and ready, for the weekend ahead (Aug. 6-9). Expect engaging conversations, behind-the-scenes insights, and stories you won’t hear anywhere else.

The debut episode, Home of the Jeep: Why Toledo’s Story Matters, features local storyteller Tedd Long, who explores how Jeep’s military roots evolved into a defining part of Toledo’s identity. Episode 2 featured Jerry Huber, retired Toledo Assembly Complex Plant Manager and Toledo Jeep Fest Board Member.

This exciting new series is made possible thanks to its Official Momentum partner, Toledo Refining Company, fueling Northwest Ohio for more than 130 years. Their support helps bring these stories to life and keeps the spotlight on the people and heritage that define Jeep culture in Toledo.
