A powerful partnership continues to uplift northwest Ohio kids during Hunger Action Month

Columbia Gas of Ohio, Toledo Jeep Fest, and Connecting Kids to Meals have come together once again to support children facing food insecurity in northwest Ohio. This inspiring collaboration marks another milestone in a multi-year partnership that blends compassion, celebration, and commitment to local youth in Northwest Ohio.

In honor of Hunger Action Month—and to celebrate the energy and excitement of Toledo Jeep Fest—volunteers from all three organizations gathered at Columbia Gas’ Toledo office. Together, the teams packed nutritious meals, created cheerful cards for students, and helped Connecting Kids to Meals prep to serve children across the region.

Since 2002, Connecting Kids to Meals has delivered more than 8 million meals to children in Lucas, Wood, Hancock, and Seneca counties. This partnership not only strengthens Columbia Gas’ mission to be a trusted energy partner but also amplifies Toledo Jeep Fest’s dedication to showcasing the city’s vibrant culture and generous spirit.

Toledo Jeep Fest will be held on August 7-9 in 2026.
